The Lighthouse of Alexandria then became the Seventh Wonder Of The Ancient World, because of its design. Apparently, earthquakes happening in 956 AD, 1303 AD and then again in 1323 AD, the final remnant of the Lighthouse of Alexandria disappeared on the 25th September 1480. Whatever the true usage of this Lighthouse was, will never be fully understood. However, the

Lighthouse of Alexandria or Pharos of Alexandria, was an incredible edifice, and seemingly looked like some kind of Hellenic Temple.
Another very old Lighthouse, but with very little remains is the Kuntasi Lighthouse which was constructed between 1934 bc to 1926 bc. The foundations of the Kuntasi Lighthouse indicate the edifice would have been over 150 feet in height.
Colossus of Rhodes
An incredible Hellenic Lighthouse was the Colossus of Rhodes. It was effectively a Lighthouse Statue of the Greek Solar Deity called Helios Olimbos, that was erected in the cityscape of Rhodes, on the Greek Island of Rhodes, which is located in the Mediterranean Basin. Apparently, the Colossus of Rhodes was designed by the Greek Sculptor known as Chares Iskhyrou in 280 BC, and it then became another of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. During 226 BC a massive earthquake rupture toppled the Colossus of Rhodes.

nearby the cityscape of Corunna, in Galacia of North Western Spain. Until the 20th Century, it was known as the Farum Brigantium (Lighthouse Of The Robbers), and the word Pháros, was from the Greek Language and obviously influenced the naming of the Tower Of Hercules. This beautiful Spanish Lighthouse was originally constructed by the Phoenician from 265 BC, in that part of North Western Spain. The notable Roman Emperor called Marcus Ulpius Traianus, had it rebuilt from 103 AD. However, the Tower Of Hercules was then renovated in 1791 during the reign of King Charles The Third of Spain.
